The UP NOAH Planning Team assists local government units and other institutions in conducting science-based climate and disaster risk assessments (CDRA) and formulating risk-sensitive local development plans, including Comprehensive Land Use Plans (CLUP), Comprehensive Development Plans (CDP), Local Climate Change Action Plans (LCCAP), and Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Plans (LDRRMP), among others. Composed of professionals from various backgrounds, the Planning Team empowers its partners through state of the art technologies and advanced methodologies to prepare a more focused interventions prioritizing climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction in local planning to increase disaster preparedness in the Philippines.
